Reform UK, Britain’s right-wing Party, is reportedly going through a rebrand as its leader admits there is a reputation problem.
Removing the Racists
Nigel Farage, leader of Reform, has insisted he will be “ruthless” in removing those involved in racist behaviour from his Party.
Farage’s Promise
During an interview with ITV after the election, Nigel Farage spoke about the poor reputation that Reform has, making a promise to the UK public.
Starting From Scratch
Farage promised, “We’re going to start again from scratch. We’re going to reiterate the things that we have always believed in.”
Reform as a Sectarian Party
“I don’t want us to be a sectarian or racially based party in any way at all,” said Farage, the former leader of UKIP and the Brexit Party.

Reform Canvasser Caught Out
One Reform canvasser, Andrew Parker, was caught making controversial comments about migrants, but it didn’t stop there.
Violent Migrant Claims
Parker claimed that migrants should be targeted by the British Army, inciting violence on those who enter the country illegally.
Parker’s Racial Slurs
According to Parker, the British Army should “just shoot” migrants. He also made a racial slur to describe the former Prime Minister.
Homophobic Comments
In addition to Parker, who was removed from the Party, a Reform representative who organises events for Farage was caught making homophobic comments about the Pride flag.
Shooting Itself in the Foot
Before the scandals came to light, Reform was pushing to overtake the Conservatives, anticipating more than the four million votes it received.
Reform’s Reputation Slips
The scandals caused significant backlash to Reform UK, and according to polls before the election, the Party’s popularity among the public slipped back down.
Caught Celebrating
Farage responded by removing the homophobic aid, George Jones, from the Party, but he was caught celebrating with him shortly after the election win.
Celebrations Cut Short
Farage insisted he did not know why George Jones was attending the celebrations but emphasised that he is no longer a member of Reform UK.
